About ISKCON Chhipiwara
The presiding deities of ISKCON Chhipiwara temple are Shri Shri Radha Vallabh ji. These stunningly beautiful marble deities stand tall at about two feet. It is believed that they were first installed on their altar around 130 years ago. But over the last four decades, the temple building got gradually deteriorated until the time ISKCON acquired its property in 2011. Since then, devotees had overseen the renovation of the temple which got completed in 2019.
After the completion of its redevelopment work, ISKCON Chhipiwara temple witnessed its formal inauguration ceremony on the 1st of November, 2019 by HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaja along with several senior Srila A.C
Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada’s disciples.

Pastimes Of A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srilla Prabhupada At Chhipiwara
Srila Prabhupada, in order to educate spiritually deficient mass in bhakti wisdom, started writing Back to Godhead magazine & commentaries on Srimad Bhagvatam. For printing and publishing them, he established his office at ISKCON Chhipiwara temple, Old Delhi (formerly known as Radha Krishna temple) in the early 1960s. He would commute to Delhi from Vrindavan for preaching, printing and publishing. During these visits, he would stay in his small room at the Chhipiwara temple.
